Habiba Zhari

International law & policy researcher

I am an international law and policy researcher whose work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, international human rights law and global governance.

My doctoral research at Hassan II University of Casablanca examined how international human rights norms can be adapted to the challenges posed by AI. I am currently completing an MA in International Relations at Queen Mary University of London.

My writing covers the reform of the UN Security Council, great-power politics in the Middle East, the laws and logics of war and genocide, and how international organisations govern information.
